The Restaurant Amon
Restaurant Amon is furnished in rustical style of a wine cellar, decorated with original viticulture stuff and decorations from viticulture heritage, which is very rich around Virštanj. Our desire is to offer our guests a wide range of culinary delights and wine of our own production. Wine tasting is also possible due to a prior agreement. Food prepared in our kitchen is strictly seasonal. Our dishes are cooked by the old traditional receipts, especially our „kozjanska“ mushroom soup and „prežganka“ is what we are famous for. Most delicious are our home made pâtés and „kozjanske“ smoked meat products. We make „vinolada“ out of wine and fruits, venison, lamb, ducks and chicken are roasted in open fire stoves. You definitely will not find frozen food in our dishes. There is also a variety of cooked stews. We have achieved many awards in culinary and catering competitions, among them are a „Touristic carnation“ and Maison de Qualite.
